Who we are
LBR Equestrian is a horse-riding school, situated in Greenvale, Victoria – just ten minutes from Melbourne Airport. Here at LBR, we focus on training riders of all ages and abilities, from beginners to experienced athletes. We offer a range of arena-based lessons, classes and clinics, covering basic riding skills, in-hand work, dressage, show jumping and mounted games. We also offer regular events, such as our quarterly LBR Equestrian Show and our camp days, which give clients the chance to own a horse for a day.
Our founder
Our founder, Lyndsay Batt-Rawden, has been working with horses for over 40 years. She began her equestrian career in the UK, working in carriage driving, thoroughbred rehabilitation and showing and eventing. After arriving in Australia in 2012, Lyndsay became a riding coach for Riding for the Disabled Australia, where she was honoured to work some industry-leading coaches. Now operating as the founder and head coach of LBR Equestrian, Lyndsay continues to help others improve their riding and their knowledge of horses.
Mission statement
Here at LBR Equestrian, our mission is to help people achieve independence in their riding and to offer those with or without their own horses the access to compete. We provide well-trained horses, engaging activities and exercises that are tailored to each individual. These foundations encourage confidence, progressive learning and a love and understanding of horses.
