Lesson Prices

Prices for LBR lessons are based on the size of the lesson class. If more people show up to a class, you’ll be entitled to a reduced price on your next lesson. You can always book a private lesson instead, if you are wanting to seek one-on-one training.

Note: private lessons with coach Abby/Georgia/Di are $140 an hour.

This is a duo lesson, suitable for two clients who are riding at the same level and want closer to one-on-one attention.

Learn with others and develop your skills as part of group – suited for those who can ride independently, at walk, trot and above.

We offer a special lesson type to children who are just starting out. You can book a Beginner’s Children’s private lesson for the discounted price of $115 per 30 minutes.

This lesson type provides individual tuition to install the basics – focusing on position, basic aids and safety.

    Annual members have priority booking over non-members, helping you secure lessons and events.

Lesson Levels

Beginner

Book this class and learn the basics of horse riding, including mounting, stop, go, turn and learning how to balance.

Rider Level 8: For those who have never ridden before.

Rider Level 7: Has been on 1-5 trail rides or has had a couple of lessons.

Novice

Gain confidence in your riding and in-hand skills and begin to explore different riding disciplines.

Rider Level 6: Riders who can independently walk and trot in an arena.

Rider Level 5: Riders who can walk, trot, canter and jump 50cms in an arena.

Intermediate

Intermediates class is the perfect place to sharpen your riding skills, make and achieve goal, train for competitions and practice different disciplines.

Rider Level 4: Riders who can walk, trot, canter, as well as jump 65cm and ride in open spaces.

Advanced

Perfect different disciplines & train for big comps.

Rider Level 3: Capable of all Rider Level 4 skills, can jump and are learning basic lateral movements and to jump 80cms.

Higher rider levels will be catered for based on individual goals.

At LBR, our lessons are mixed disciplined and throughout our time with us, you’ll be exposed to many of the below areas and activities. If you’re particularly interested in one discipline, let us know and we’ll arrange your training in this area!
